Conventions are one of the best places to go for fellow otakus and nerds to just geek out and just express the same love of anime, cosplay, manga, video games, and more. Thousands of people come to anime conventions every year just to make friends and meet other people who are into cosplay, anime, and manga.

Rise up, oldies gang. (Yes, we’re old.) Prince of Tennis is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary on 2021—yes, it’s been that long.—and to celebrate this momentous occasion, the popular tennis anime has announced that it will be getting a new anime project.

As part of promotions for the just-released 3DCG anime series Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, a “Directors Interview” was recently uploaded on the Netflix Asia Youtube channel. The video features interviews with the series’ two directors, Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the series’ production process, voice recording, and motion-capturing.

While we’re all in our homes hoping that this pandemic comes to an end soon so that we can all finally go out and all the delayed anime films can finally be released, Aniplex of America dropped the first English-dubbed teaser for the much-awaited Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train.

Aside from the Ultra Jump manga contest that was previously announced, online publication Shonen Jump+ is launching its own contest to search for the next shonen manga star. The launch of this competition is in hopes of creating a shortcut on the path to making shonen manga.

To those who are looking forward to Otakon this year, we have some bad news. It was announced recently on their official website that this highly anticipated anime convention is cancelled. The main reason for the cancellation is due to current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

While all of us are advised to stay at home, cosplayers from all over the world find ways to do cosplay in the comforts of their own home. Popular Japanese cosplayer Enako is one those and it’s just awesome to know that she was able to get the perfect Nezuko cosplay.
