Apparently it’s not all that bad if an anime film gets delayed because of the coronavirus, based on the experience of Studio Colorido’s anime film A Whisker Away (Nakitai Watashi wa Neko o Kaburu or Wanting to Cry, I Pretend to Be a Cat).

NHK has reported this Tuesday that the demolition of Kyoto Animation’s fire-hit 1st Studio building is now complete. Demolition work for the building began last November. An aerial shot by NHK shows us the now-empty plot of land: No decision has been made yet on what to do with the location of the building.

A new teaser trailer has recently been unveiled on the official website of the anime film adaptation of popular smartphone game Tokyo 7th Sisters. The trailer revealed the film’s official title Tokyo 7th Sisters: Bokura wa Aozora ni Naru (We Will Become the Blue Sky), as well as the main staff for the film.

We’re all cooped up in our houses and are now running out of things to do, but thankfully the SOS Brigade (well actually just Haruhi and Kyon) is giving us something to keep ourselves busy with. Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya voice actors Aya Hirano (Haruhi) and Tomokazu Sugita (Kyon) posted videos of them last Sunday doing the iconic “Hare Hare Yukai” dance from their homes.
