February 27 is Pokemon Day-- the first Pokemon games, Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue were released in Japan. Ever since, the games have expanded to a lot of sequels, spin-offs, and even other adaptations from anime to manga.

It has been a while since we have heard of any news of Hell Girl-- not until recently. Two Japanese retailers namely Honya Club and Tsutaya have sort of spilled the beans of hints of a new Hell Girl in July.

My Hero Academia Season Two is set to premiere on March 25. Are you excited. To keep up with the hype, the anime’s official website released a new promotional video on Saturday which previews the opening theme song performed by Kenshi Yonezu titled “Peace Sign”.

For a limited time spanning between the dates March 17 and April 5, take a nostalgic trip with a shop dedicated to an anime from the time where magical girls were a popular theme for many shows. Today Toei Animation has announced that the shop is to be dedicated to the anime “Ojamajo Doremi” the fantasy show that featured the adventures of a group of young girls as cute witches.

After announcing his retirement in 2013, Hayao Miyazaki returns and is now working on a new anime feature film. Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki revealed this in an event in the US that happened on Thursday.

In case you missed it, Yayoiso’s ReLIFE manga is getting its own live-action film adaptation which is slated to premiere in Japanese theaters on April 15. The official website of the movie released another preview which features the ending song performed by Sonoko Inoue titled “Sakura”.

FUNimation Entertainment released a statement on Friday regarding the data breach on its website which dated back July 2016. Some important information of its users like dates-of-birth, email addresses, and names have been leaked.

Tsutomu Nihei's original Blame. manga has inspired a film and this film will be adapted to a new Blame. manga, set launch on April 26 at Kodansha's Shonen Sirius magazine - the publisher announced over the weekend.
