On April 4, 2017, the anime adaptation of the light novel series, “Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor” was first released and as of today, three days have passed since the release of the 12th and final episode of the anime.

After the long-standing suspension of the production of the Gainax anime film “Uru in Blue” a.k.a. “Aoki Uru”, president Hiroyuki Yamaga has announced as of Friday, that the film would finally begin production this month.

The Japanese animation studios Gainax was ordered by the judge of the Tokyo District Court (Tachikawa Branch) on Friday to pay Studio Khara its debt of 100 million yen. Studio Khara filed a lawsuit against Gainax last December 2016 in regards of a 100 million yen debt that Gainax owes.

With Kodama Naoko’s yuri manga series Netsuzou Trap getting an anime adaptation, a lot are still having mixed opinions over the series. Regardless of these, some are still excited for its airing on July 5.

A new promotional video presenting the CG animation style for the upcoming anime series “Land of the Lustrous” a.k.a. “Houseki no Kuni” is out and streaming on the official website as of Friday. “Land of the Lustrous” is a series that is being serialized by Kodansha's Afternoon magazine, was first launched in 2012 and is a creation of Haruko Ichikawa.

Artist Aneko Yusagi’s fantasy light novel series, “The Rising of the Shield Hero” a.k.a. “Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari” is officially confirmed to have an anime adaptation in the works via a tweet released by the official Twitter account of Osada, Shizuoka branch of the Yoshimi Books store depicting a copy of the promotional flyers from MF Books, the light novel label of Kadokawa's brand company Media Factory that publishes the series.

The new superhero series “Infini-T Force” has a revelation of more staff by their production company Tatsunoko Productions as of Wednesdy and they include designs also revealed by the staff. Set to premiere on October in NTV with a one hour slot as part of NTV’S new “AnichU”, this series is recognized as a project to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Tatsunoko Productions in October 2017 and will be featuring heroes from four earlier Tatsunoko Productions anime: Tekkaman, the Space Knight, Casshan (Casshern), Gatchaman, and Hurricane Polymar.

A series featuring the adventures of the bear character that is Rilakkuma is making its way to the popular film and series viewing site, Netflix for the following year. Having the tentative title of "Rilakkuma Series", the anime is set to be 13 episodes long and each episode will be 11 minutes long.
