It was announced on Sunday in Shogakukan that Gosho Aoyama’s popular manga series Detective Conan will return from hiatus on April 11. It will be released on this year’s 20th issues of Weekly Shonen Sunday.

A “research” feature update has been announced by mobile game developer Niantic in Pokemon GO last Monday and was implemented on its latest app update on March 30. Aside from this announcement, the mythical Pokemon Mew is also added to the game but it’s not for certain yet if it will be obtainable.

April has arrived and that means the time has come for Spring 2018 anime to arrive. Whether it be new anime or anime gearing up for a new season or second cour, there’s always something to check out for the season.

Last Wednesday, Funimation Entertainment released an English-dubbed trailer for the anime adaptation of Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Goul:re manga. The popular anime streaming service will also release the first few English-dubbed episodes simultaneously with Japan.

Returning for more hours of work are the contrasting cats of “Working Buddies.” a.k.a. “Hataraku Oniisan.” as a new season is announced for the series. Set to release in June 2018, the new season will be broadcasted on Tokyo MX and BS.

Coming on April 25 is the shipment of the “Godzilla Project Mechagodzilla novel”. The release of the novel will be marking the upcoming theatrical release of “Godzilla: Kessen Kidō Zōshoku Toshi” a.

From manga to OVA and now to live-action, “Kyou Kara Ore Wa..” has been announced for a new live-action television series adaptation set for October in NTV's Nichiyō Drama time slot. Yuuichi Fukuda, the director behind “Gintama: Mitsuba hen” will be directing the series.
