Shueisha announced this Tuesday that science-fiction harem manga series World’s End will be getting a TV anime series set for a 2021 release. The manga’s author, Kotaro Shono, posted a special illustration to celebrate this announcement: The manga series is celebrating its 4th anniversary this year, with the manga’s 82nd chapter released last Sunday teasing “important news”—which turned out to be this announcement.

If you all aren’t feeling scared enough of this ongoing pandemic and world crisis, Netflix is here to give us an added dose of scary (not the virus kind though): the streaming platform has announced this Tuesday that horror franchise JU-ON will be getting a live-action series slated for a July 3 release.
