Japanese film and TV actor Shunji Fujimura passed away on January 25 at the age of 82. The cause of his death was heart failure. Fujimura lived in Kamakura, Kanagawa prefecture and studied at the TOHO School of Performing Arts.

Many fans know that most often than not anime are meant as a work of promoting the manga in which they are based on. As such when an anime ends and a fan finds that they want more, they look over the manga that the show may be based on.

A new year has come and in turn so have new anime, seasons and many more for the community. Fans both new and old will soon have anew bath of choices to consider for the year. But in looking forward to something new it is also nice to look back on what good the previous years have brought.

For this new year a number of anime ne through a lot of changes and for this new year it is no different as a number of new anime have been reported under production and new seasons of popular works are ready for the screen.

Toei Animation uploaded a video on Saturday revealing that Dragon Ball Super anime will be entering a new arc called the "Universe Survival Arc" slated to be aired on February 5. Weeks ago on January 18 it has been announced that the sci-fi film by Kenji Kamiyama, “Hirunehime -Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari” a.k.a “Ancient and the Magic Tablet” would be acting as the opening film to the 26th Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival.

A new year comes with new episodes and new characters for the new rugby anime “All Out..” as announced by the series’ official site. Though there are no details on when exactly these new characters shall make their appearance nor in which episode it will be but it has been confirmed that a total of four characters have been set.
