Here’s a bit of bad news for those who are looking forward to the further chapters of the One Piece manga. It was announced on Friday via a Tweet from the editorial department of the Weekly Shonen Jump that the manga will not appear in this year’s 44th issue, which will be shipping on Monday in Japan.

Make way for the newest ice-skating-themed anime (with a twist), as a new promo video was just released for the TV original anime Skate-Leading Stars. The PV previews the anime’s opening theme song Chase the Core by Takao Sakuma.

Good news to US fans of Japan’s beloved “gentleman thief”, as American distributor GKIDS has announced that they will be screening LUPIN III THE FIRST in US cinemas. The screenings, which will be done in cooperation with TMS Entertainment and Fathom Events, will be held on October 18 & 21—the former to feature English dub, while the latter to feature Japanese dub with English subtitles.

A special event for the My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom. (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijō ni Tensei Shiteshimatta…) TV anime last Saturday announced that the romcom series will be receiving a game slated for release next year.

Despite all the delays, Violet Evergarden: The Movie has beaten all the odds and is currently on its third week in Japanese cinemas. To celebrate its successful run so far, Kyoto Animation has released a new promo video for the movie featuring more new scenes for those who haven’t watched the film yet.
