# New 'Pokemon' Film Announced! <img src="http://i.imgur.com/FPLnsz3.png"> During the airing of the Japanese children's variety program <i>Oha Suta</i> on Thursday, it was announced that a new <i>Pokemon</i> film titled <i>Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Kimi ni Kimeta!</i> or '<i>Pokemon</i> the Movie: I Choose You!' will premiere on July 15, 2017. The show also aired the film's teaser which can be found below: <br> <iframe frameborder="0" width="480" height="270" src="//www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x55a6hx" allowfullscreen></iframe><br/> <br> The upcoming movie's title is also the same as the anime's first episode (<i>"Pokémon! Kimi ni Kimeta!"</i>) which originally aired in 1997.</br> <br> <i>Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel</i> was the franchise's recent film which premiered on July 16 this year.
