# 'Neko Atsume' Film to Premiere in Japan on April 8 <img src="http://i.imgur.com/IsXBTSQ.png?1"> Yes. people. Neko Atsume (the popular <i>kawaii</i> kitty collector game app) will have its own movie and will premiere in Japan on April 8, 2017. The film will be screened in <i>Shinjuku Musashinokan</i> another cinemas nationwide. Japanese actress Shiori Katsuna (Lunafreya in <i>Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV</i>) will be playing the role of Michiru Towada, the films heroine and the editor of the protagonist. Atsushi Itou will be playing the lead role as Sakumoto. <img src="http://i.imgur.com/3VK8tsU.png"> To give you a little synopsis of the film, it follows an award-winning author and best-selling novelist Sakumoto who is dealing with a bad case of the writer's block. As a way getting to a new start of life, he moved to a simple home only to find out that this did not help him with his small predicament. One day, he then become so intrigued with a cat who stopped by his garden.
