# “Idolm@ster--Cinderella Girls Theater” Anime Adaptation Plans Confirmed for 2017 During the Idolm@aster Cinderella Girls 4th Live Tricastle Story, Bandai Namco announced that they will be working on a new anime adaptation of the gag manga “Idolm@ster--Cinderella Girls Theater” and it will be released next year. The 5-panel manga is currently serialized in The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls mobile app, and it is about the game idols’ comical lives from day to day. <img src= https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/11/82457.jpg> The 2017 Gathering production will be in cooperation with Mankyu (Puchim@s, Donyatsu, Fist of the North Star: Strawberry Flavor). <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wbhqx4MNR_g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> The first anime adaptation of Idolm@ster--Cinderella Girls was based on the first game of the franchise, produced by Sunrise in 2007, and licensed by Sentai Filmworks. Later on, A-1 Pictures produced a television anime series in 2011, an original video game, and an anime film in 2014. The anime series was included in Crunchyroll’s streaming while it was aired in Japan.
