The Last Player in a Dead Game A forgotten online game suddenly returns after being shut down for twenty years. Kai logs in for fun, only to discover that every player is trapped inside a world where losing means disappearing from reality. There is only one other active player: an anonymous character who knows Kai's real name, childhood memories, and deepest secrets. As they fight their way through impossible levels, Kai learns the truth—the game wasn't designed to entertain people. It was designed to find someone capable of bringing a dead person back to life. And Kai's missing brother may be waiting at the final level.
