Another anime adaptation for a manga joins the ever growing list under production for the following year and this time it is based on a fantasy light novel series entitled “Shūmatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii Desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii Desu ka?” a.k.a “Do you have what THE END? Are you busy? Shall you save XXX?” written by Akirs Kareno and illustrated by “ue” as reported by the February issue of “Kodansha’s Monthly Comic Alive” magazine on Tuesday.
The series was first released in 2014 and had finished with a fifth novel that was published in April. It was later on in the month that they had also created the first volume to the sequel series titled “Shūmatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Mō Ichido Dake Aemasu ka?” a.k.a “Do you have what THE END? May I meet you once again?” and most recently they had the third volume of the series shipped on December 1.
Additional to this it has been reported that a manga adaptation has been launched by new illustrator Kaname Seu on June 27 in the August issue of the Kadokawa’s Comic Alive magazine and will have its first volume shipped on February 23.
The story of the series itself is set in a world where creatures known as “Beasts” have driven humanity into extinction. Now the responsibility of fighting these dangerous beings have fallen to those who are known as “Fairies”. They are destined to wield “Holy Swords” called “Kariyon” to fight in battle and yet are also destined to meet their death.
Suddenly it has been found that not all of humanity have been riven to extinction as a young man name Willem awakens as the sole human after several hundred years and for the rest of the series we follow his adventures as he traverses this world as a leader to a group of female fairy warriors.
Currently there is no further news made on the production of the adaptation other than the fact that the series would premier in April of the following year.
