"The Disastrous Life of Saito K." Official Twitter Account Teases Production of Sequel for the Anime
Released on July 4 and ending with a total twenty-four episodes having been given a double broadcast in the morning and evening and five episodes a week, “The Disastrous Life of Saito K.” was an anime that brought a new look to the supernatural genre involving psychics. For this anime it tells the story of Kusuo Saiki, a high school boy gifted with various supernatural abilities. Though from the outsider’s point of view this would mean a life of adventure for Saiki it is the complete opposite as he tries to deal with each day hoping to have a normal life only to receive otherwise.
Directed by Hiroaki Sakurai (recognized as a director to other shoujo works such as Maid-sama!) the anime is one of the rare few to have gone beyond the mostly seen below twenty-episode mark. Now an announcement has been made via its official twitter account on Monday of a possible second season to come as the manga teases of the green light to the production of the anime sequel. Any other details on the possible sequel is to be given by the staff at another time.
