It’s official: As of Sunday, the anime film Kimi no Na wa earns a total of 19,957,000,000 yen in box office ticket sales surpassing the Studio Ghibli anime film classic Howl’s Moving Castle. The movie has been showing for a total of 101 days since its premiere in Japan.
It is currently ranked at #2 with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them taking over its former #1 spot on its second weekend screening in Japanese theaters.
The latest Kuroko no Basuke movie ranked in #9 on its opening week while Death Note Light up the NEW world dropped from rank #7 to #10 on its sixth weekend in the box office.
