The official Kara no Kyoukai website has announced that a Blu-ray box set will be released containing all seven movies as well as a bonus disk containing the final chapter. In addition, the box set will contain the sixty-minute Remix -Gate of seventh heaven, an edited compilation of the first six movies that was shown in theaters prior to the debut of the seventh movie. The box will also contain an art book featuring all the art associated with the film series. If this doesn’t have you drooling yet, I’d like to add that the movies come with Japanese and English subtitles—no, that wasn’t a typo, ENGLISH SUBTITLES. And the best part? You can get all of that for a meager 52,500 yen!
For those who are wondering, that’s about *$620 US dollars*…no, that wasn’t a typo, although I kinda wish it was…
Oh, there’s also a stand-alone DVD release for the final bonus chapter for those who don’t want to buy the greatest anime movie series of the decade in beautiful 1080p HD.
Suffice it to say, being the obsessive Type Moon fanatic that I am, I already have it pre-ordered…
