i know this is REALLYYYY random but i saw a reply you put on a thread about elfen lied 5ish months ago. you said you wished they would re-release the manga in english b/c you heard the ending was a bit sadder/different. i just finished reading the manga. the anime only covers MAYBE 1/3 of the manga. and the ending is way different. i didnt know if in the last 5 months you had read it, but do. if you have iphone you can get the english version on an app called manga rock. its only a couple dollars.

Hahaa. Yeah I felt like a won the lottery getting those tickets for CC. It took several page crashes and 3 hours to finally get at least 2 tickets >.< You should definitely try to go in :) Have you tried the volunteer program? IDK if that's done already, but you just volunteer at the convention for like 4 hours (which really most volunteers I see play the videogames at the booth) and then the con is yours for the rest of the day :)

yeah! i have such a hard time picking a favorite from that show! i think that's why it's so awesome, because all of the characters are fantastic! i love all of them for different reasons! i love tamama 'cause he's cute yet extremely dangerous, keroro and dororo for the same reason as you, giroro 'cause he's all tough but has his fluffy moments, kululu 'cause he's insane and his inventions mostly end up hurting someone..and i even love all the humans and other characters too! it's just such a fun show! i could go on about it for days!

Hmm, well it's a nice song I guess. I'm sure it'll grow on me eventually, but you're right. It's missing that 'Punch of Sunshine' feeling I get from the first song, haha. Like, if you're really in love, that's the song you're humming in your head. The AMV was pretty decent.

I think the connection I saw between the two girls was only in the way they were perceived by others in that they were 'scary' and compared to Ringu's Sadako. I thought it was going to be another 'make-over' series but when it proved to be otherwise I immediately fell in love. I, too, love the opening theme- it's so mellow and sunshine-y. That's kinda disappointing about the 2nd season's opening. I was looking forward to another good theme. And the more we talk about this the more I want to start the next season right now... hahaha.

I haven't started season two yet, but I'm excited for it. I agree that the characters stand realistically above the typical shoujo. I first started reading the manga and I have to admit, I almost didn't make it past the first chapter because I mistakenly thought it was similar to The Wallflower with the whole 'She-looks-like-Sadako!' theme. (And clearly Sawako's classmates and I have a very different idea of what's scary, haha... Because Sadako is nothing short of adorable.)

Ah, thank you! Yes, I'm a fan. I think it's one of the classiest, least-melodramatic shoujo series I've ever seen. But mostly I think it's coloured beautifully, haha.

Wow...that's a lot of money but it looks really amazing. Is Dead Master in it? I didn't see her in the trailer, but either way, it looks like a really cool game. AND it's for the PSP. I almost don't regret choosing the PSP over the DS now xD It'll be a while before I can afford it though.

Oh, you don't have to worry about that, lol. Every game has absolutely no relation to the others, other than the fact that they all have prinnies. The only reason you would want to play the first two before you play Disgaea 3 is because the main characters from Disgaea 1 & 2 are unlockable characters in Disgaea 3, so I guess you might want to know who they are.

Sorry for the triple post, but I forgot to mention (if you're interested) that Disgaea 4 is coming out this summer ^^

In fact, the Prinny from that game is a secret unlockable character in Disgaea 3 ^^

Haha, yeah, that's a spinoff game of the Disgaea series. I personally haven't played it (because it's for the PSP, and I don't have a PSP), but I hear it's pretty funny ^^

Oh yeah, I adore Elfen Lied, I'm not even sure how I came across it, but I downloaded the series because I was fairly new to anime and it was quite a short series (same reason I downloaded School days - big mistake) but I just loved it so much :D it's a great little story, and through the violence still manages to uphold a level of emotion, it had me crying like mad by the end.
