I have! My current cosplay is Sir Integra Hellsing, and my significant other accompanies me as Alucard (the straight-jacket version).

To be truthful i have many of times , black butler,inuyasha,earland fairy,hellgirl,ouran high,high school of the dead,j.r., alice in the country of hearts,ghost hunt, death note , Bleach- but those are some of the ones i have done the most crazyiest one i have done would half to be when i cosplayed has ulquiorra off of bleach

I like to look for cosplay that I can wear in everyday life, for example: my cosplay of edward elric, which I changed slightly to be more feminine.

Just every day of my life.

Anyway, for realsies I did the bald biker from Left For Dead last year (and ended up on the video section of 1up.com!), and I'm currently considering a new suit for something else.

Everybody going to leave me hanging here? Anybody else?

It's become an annual thing for me and my best friend to do matching cosplays at KumoriCon in Portland. It's also tradition for mine to be a crossplay. Last year I did Sailor Mars. This year I did Mio (K-ON) and Kagome (InuYasha). Next year's is already planned to be Rin Tohsaka (Fate/Stay Night) and thinking of doing a random miko just for giggles.

I have not yet. But I would like to. Recently I was watching Sengoku Basara and I would really like to cosplay as Date Masamune, aka the One Eyed Dragon. Also I would want to be Kamina from Gurren Lagann and with my camera equipment, I could probably try and pull of Tatsumi Saiga from Speed Grapher.

Kamina would be a fun one, but I have no idea how you would get those glasses to stay on. Spirit gum is a pain in the ass!

Also, be careful with Date Masamune - wearing an eyepatch for a long time can really mess with your head! I tried it because I was thinking doing a Kyubei (from Gintama) cosplay and was seriously dizzy.

I totally agree. Don't worry about rules or what's acceptable. It's all about having fun. And what nerd at a con is going to judge you? Really.

i've yet to cosplay since i know nothing about making costumes nor do i have the money to buy pre-made ones.>__>; (which, if i'm not mistaken, are usually a few hundred dollars) one day i really hope to, though.

There's no real "rule" saying that you can't cosplay your own character. Cosplaying isn't as expensive or difficult as you might be imagining (having a cosplay mistress as a best friend has taught me a thing or two).

Premade costumes can actually cost under $100 and if you visit various cosplay forums (cosplay.com, etc) you can find used cosplays for sale from the designers who want to move onto something new and need to raise funds to do so.

If you can't find a friend to talk/blackmail into doing it w/ you, don't be afraid to hit up the official forums on the convention sites. There are always a ton of people who would be interested in helping w/ that. heh

I got random black capri pants and a random tan jacket at a second hand store, and then I glued fake fur/those little flame pictures on the jacket. I found a little bag that looked like a shuriken pouch, and I made a shuriken holster out of a small box and cloth. And then I bought a Naruto headband at a local store. For a wig, I found a black bob wig and cut it accordingly. Shoes... I ignored that. XD

I'm also currently working on a few more for the next anime convention I'm going to in April. Ryou Bakura (Yu-Gi-Oh!), Youko Kurama (Yu Yu Hakusho), Yayoi (Loveless), and a Shaymin Gijinka (Pokemon).

I haven't cosplayed yet, one because I'm broke, and I need either to make it and I need money for it or buyit, and the con I ever went to is the one at the library , so hopefully I can get a Hungary Hetailia cosplay in.

OMG cosplay XD. I've only cosplayed as Shin from Shin Chan and Cartman from South Park. I'm recently working on America from Hetalia and Black Star from Soul Eater. Then i'll probably think of cosplaying Koyuki from BECK with a Chiba by my side XD.

I've cosplayed a few times, once as Ed Elric (FMA) and also as Ninamori Eri (FLCL) and Shindo Hikaru (Hikaru no Go). This year I want to do Yuri Otani from Alien 9 and Alternate Haruhi from the Disappearance movie, but I don't have enough $$ for both.

Genis from Tales of Symphonia. I was forced to do it for the group cosplay, though I had no idea who it was. They even made my costume for me, so i thought, Why not? It was pretty weird though, when people recognized the character and I had no idea what to say...

Jenny, sewing is NOT. easy. I tried making a skirt, and it turned into a straight tube that wouldnt even fit. XD It proly is cheaper though. Much cheaper.

what about body type and facial structure? sure there are ways around that, but then that gets to be more trouble than its worth. i'd rather make the costume and scout around for a perfect match to model it.

i haven't yet, but i'd like to eventually. i'd probably be either Xion from Kingdom Hearts, Detective Ema Skye from Apollo Justice, or Oshawott from Pokemon Black and White. unfortunately, the only con i can think of thats closest to where i live is Zenkaikon in Philadelphia, which is exactly 5 hours and 18 minutes away from my house. if i wasn't going to drive, my mom would definitely not be willing to drive 5 hours just so i can walk around in a costume all day. so when i do plan on going, i'd probably go with some friends, but not until i move out, which may take a while.

Not yet, but some of my friends are wanting to do a big group cosplay which I'll most likely join. Just not sure what it is they want to do yet.

i have at school at two anime conventions i went to last year....

characters i have cosplayed:

1. Misa Amane (from death note)

2. Tenten (from naruto)

3. Girl Sasuke (naruto)

4. just as a normal anime school girl

did i also mention that all of my cosplay outfits i made where never bought on the internet or through the mail i either bought at local stores or use stuff i had around my house it was not easy but it was funny and i also sewed most of my outfits including my tenten cosplay outfit and my girl sasuke one as well

I cosplayed as Belgium from Hetalia last year and this year I cosplay as Naoto from Dogs Bullets and Carnage. I also Crossplayed as Kyoya from Host club for an anime club tea party.

I have never but I do want to. The only think is that I would never dress up like a character from Bleach even though it is my favorite. The problem is that I love replica swords owning several myself. The PROBLEM is that EVERY convention has rules against any weapon being made of metal, sharp or not, because they can not be metal or any material that "can hold an edgee"

I cosplayed as Yourichi from Bleach but my hair wasn't up to part.I put in extentions insted of a wig cause I wanted it to look more real. Someone said they knew how to do put in extentions but when it all came down it becomes obvious they haven't. I made the outfit but I ran out of time so I hot glued it ahem*

FightingDreamers are my idols too as well, and also archichi from L.a.p/ limitless androphy produstions (I'm not sure if thats how it's spelled).

I have. Right now I am doing Megurine Luka and Sakura Kinomoto(2nd movie masquerade dress). i think cosplaying is a great hobby to have, the only negative side being the cost. i use up almost all my money to cosplay

I've cosplayed as Light Yagami, when the Death Note live action movies came out. It was awesome, actually I remember a girl who wanted a picture with me and her. I have to admit though, I wasn't great at Light because my size didn't work with the costume. It was still a lot of fun. XD

Yep! I've cosplayed as Konata Izumi from lucky star and Haruhi Fujioka from ouran high school host club. Funny story, Iwas dressed as haruhi at a con recently and I passed a random guy dressed as tamaki. we stopped, looked at each other, and gave each other "the nod" (the one you give people who know an inside joke or something) and we went on our way. my friend and I collasped with laughter after that XD
