Who loves the DS? I do!! Although the problem is that there's actually more games for little kids than there is for older kids and...I guess adults. But nonetheless when I find a good game, it's very addicting. I also like the fact where I can carry around the DSlite with me easily and to anywhere I want. Mine is coral pink <3. My brothers got it for me for Christmas.

i went trough a few...
i bought the original red DS that came bundled with Mario Kart DS in 2005 and i remember going to class with it and everyone wanted to play it. i used to also have Metroid, Animal Crossing, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Resident Evil and countless others. at some point i sold it.
in 2007 i got a DS lite. dont remember what game i got with it, but i do remember having Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass and thinking it was awesome! again, at some point i got rid of it.
currently the handheld i have is a PSP (actually i have 2: the MGS BIG BOSS CAMO PSP and a hacked 1000 model PSP).
i do look forward to the 3DS though; mainly for the remake of MGS3:Snake Eater 'cause that was a really good game!

I have one. I traded the original DS for a Lite. The DS Lite's hinges are flimsier or something because mines swings open and close really easily now.

I do! i got the original grey one the year it first came out, 2005, for my birthday! Then i got a summer job a year ago and earned enough money to buy myself a DSi!! i love playing on it so much! I have almost thirty games which i have collected over the years through birthdays, christmases and shopping on ebay! needless to say, i cannot wait till the 3DS comes out!! iv saved up especially for it and i think i have enough now (just!). If they do bring out another version after that though, i dont think i will buy it in a hurry- DSs cost a LOT!! -_-

Oh the 3DS! I almost forgot about that! My, my, my, I wonder what that is going to look like. I've heard rumors that you won't need to wear 3D glasses at all and that somehow it's going to work out and not make you feel dizzy. I'm a little worried though that the new 3DS won't be easy to hide from your parents when you're not supposed to be playing it....

haha, yeh! when i was little i used to play my ds in the middle of the night undercover, and when my parents came in i would pretend to be asleep! never gets old!!

ooohhh, ohhh i have one!!!! lol i got it wen i was in 5th grade so its a lil spazzy by now... but my sis has the same one, and my bro has the dsi XL....yeah tht things big, but its really clear to see.XD
there are alot of lil kid games but one of my fave games is made for tht....does anyone kno here professor layton games??!?!?!? they are sooo awesome! its like a giant msteries made up of logic puzzles. i say the voices are really cool with their accents and the guys look cute. the latest one has a character in like 10 yrs from the future, and HE IS SOME BISHIE!!! lol.....for a simple cartoon character~!!! XD

i've been wanting to get a DS again for a while now, but ever since they announced the 3DS, i figured i might as well wait for that to come out. especially since its supposed to arrive in the States around late spring/summer time. and like i said before, i'm really excited for the MGS3 remake and i hope it comes out on day 1.

OOH!!! So that's what the 3DS looks like!! It's not 3D at all huh?? Lol!! I was definitely being mislead somewhere in my mind! I saw the games for it and my eyes turned O__O. I really want it now...but it's going to cost a fortune isn't it!?? eeeek! I hope it doesn't cost as much as a Wii or anything. The features sound great on it except for the silent exchanging of info, it kind of freaks me out if I can't monitor my own DS's actions. ...Could get creepers or something O_o?? Dude streetfighter, bomberman, and shin megumi tensei!!!

@SoupyTheOctopus - the Nintendo 3DS will use stereoscopic 3D. to give you an example: do you ever remember buying baseball cards or some other type of cards and inside there was a special 3D type card that when you moved from side to side, it looked like the picture was moving... that's basically how the 3DS is going to work.

Ohh <3 I see now, that's how the 3D works! Thanks for the links! But now I have to say I won't really know how it feels until I get to hold one and play with it. At least I can kind of get how it will work, yay.

now as for price... i remember reading on Kotaku's website that Nintendo was planning to sell the 3DS in Japan for ¥25,000... which is roughly $300. i highly doubt that it will start at $300 in the States; my guess is that it will probably start at $250. though that is a lot for a handheld, i'm sure a lot of people are more than willing to pay for it.

I remember Nintendo saying at E3 they weren't going to try to show the 3d aspect over the internet since it would be a lot of trouble. I also remember gaming sites saying it works wonderfully, but that there's a sweet spot so I guess people watching you won't have it as good.

@Dampfmaedchen - up until MGS Peace Walker came out, i always felt like the PSPs game library was crap compared to that of the DS. but this year i bought 2 PSPs and i've got like 10 games between both of 'em and i play it so much! and i'd say i'm a SONY whore as well... ^w^

Ooh speaking about trial on the internet, I tried the Miles Edgeworth game online first. Needless to say, I didn't really need to trial play it that much because I already knew I wanted it!! Looove phooenix wright gaames.

I still have the original DS. I am waiting to see what the 3DS will hold, they tried the same method before with the Visual Boy. Hopefully, It won't fail too. x]

i had a silver ds and got told to give it to my sister when i got my ds lite which is light blue, ive still got it but my brothr borrowed it one night and gave it back to me with a cracked hinge and druelled in mic, ive still got it but when i saw the mario red lite i got it, still havent got round to the newer ones, but my mums got the ds xl

there have been a couple of close misses with my ds, (where my sisters are involved, obviously). i would destroy my sisters if they tried ANYTHING with my precious DSi.

i have a ds lite and a psp but my psp is mia right now, wonder where that thing went...

I love my DS Lite ~ I reshelled it with a silver TWEWY case. The only problem is I've had it for 4 years now and the shoulder buttons are finally starting to go. The speakers are also going bad, but luckily the front buttons and both screens work fine. Right now I'm playing Golden Sun and Super Scribblenauts.

My brothers and I kinda fight for the ownership of ours even though it technically belongs to my little brother. I'm always playing puzzle games on it, no matter how cheesy they are.

Mine is a DSI. I got it for my birthday last year...well,technically the year before last, since my birthday hasn't come yet this year. Mine is black. The camera is over rated though. I use it for some stuff, but not much. Only for stuff like school feild trips(play games when the teachers are asleep :D)so I can take pictures or important events like birthdays Christmas and Thanksgiving. Also, the L&R buttons went out within a couple months. The R button tried to stay, but it still broke. My original DS(the big, bulky one. I still have it, actually...)kinda died, though. It wont turn on xD

I have one of the original DS('s?) The DS lite is too small for me because I have huge hands, as I am a big person.

I have both kingdom hearts games for it, as well as chain of memories, along with a myriad number of others.

Looking forward to the 3DS, and Kingdom Hearts 3D as well.

uh, YES!! i dont care if i already have a DSi, iv saved up last years summer job money for the 3DS!! im pwetty excited, but not about the price- £200? mind you, that is quite good, concidering its capabilities. ^.^

I have a red DSi XL! I got it for Christmas and the games I have are Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing Wild World and Pokemon Soul Silver. I also downloaded Supermarket Mania, Mario VS. Donkey Kong Minis March Again, Airport Mania Non-Stop Flights, Nintendo Countdown Calender and My Notebook green.

I have a DS lite and I just changed the case on it! I have probably 20 or so games for it several anime and a couple of classic mario 64 and diddy kong racing 64, but my problem is that the PSP has just so much better graphics, I mean it really looks like you are carrying around an original PS one, the DS is way too suited for little kids, and the other big problem is that there are better games for the PSP anime wise that come out compared to the ones that come out to the DS, but I have no complaints, Nintendo has never let me down! But, I believe that the games that are coming out for the 3DS will make up in the graphics department

It's a bit higher than that since it's actually getting hard to find those chargers.
