So Like Any Consoles Or Handhelds You Can Think Of =] So Anything From Saga To Xbox 360, From GameBoy To Nintendo Dsi XL...
I Would Say The Ps2 Because I Am A *HUGE* Kingdom Hearts Fan And You Can Play Ps1 Games On It Too Like Spyro The Dragon :D

I think you can jailbreak your PS3 into multiregion
"PS3 original 60GB or 80GB models because they are backwards compatible with both PSX and PS2 games... all models after that lack the PS2 compatibility."
A BRAIN-NUMBINGLY bad idea on Sony's part... : /
NES.
Highest concentration of quality games with quality gameplay.
Wow I Totaly Forgot About NES.
Street Fighter <3
Snes, has the most epic games on it ever
great storylines
capable of a lot too
has to be the best thing ever :3
it would be great if the question was about handhelds
Ds it'd have to be, can get all the nes and snes games, you can also play gameboy games aaand ds games :D
i never got a ds lite because every now and then i complete pokemon yellow again haha

I run with the SONY CAMP, PS3 for the win!
@AnimeEv - it never made sense to me why SONY didn't incorporate the PS2 backwards compatibility into all their PS3 models... i know that before they made their big anti-pirating update for PS3 (3.4 i think it was), people running Linux on the PS3 could run an emulator that would allow them to play PS2 games on their PS3s.
@Kuttsinister7 - though i kind of feel weird admitting it, i'm a bit of a SONY fanboy... i think i get it from my dad 'cause he loves SONY...
GAH! That is so hard... you can't go wrong with a bit of XBox, and when i had a go of the PSP i loved it... but i would have to day DSi. I wouldn't be able to live without having a go at flipnote studio from time to time, and most of the games produced for it are addictive, if slightly easy mainly. And I love taking pics and listening to my music on it... and going on the internet is slow but decent! I have got big love for the DS!! :D
Probably a DS or PSP. I'm sure you can find emulators for everything from a SNES to PS3 for your computer (or PS2 at the worst) so I don't need any of those. The only thing left are portables which I can carry in my pocket. I believe my friend once said there was an addition for the PSP that let you play DS games on it. If so, I choose PSP and if not, I choose DS.

That's my choice as well. Sadly, my ex got mine in the divorce. However, I have a non-backwards compatible PS3, and I never got rid of my PS2, so I'm covered.
I would probably be the Game Cube because it is just an awesome game console and there are so many cool games that you can play on it! :D
"I would probably be the Game Cube because it is just an awesome game console and there are so many cool games that you can play on it! :D"
Wait you would choose that over the Wii which has backwards compatibility? I think my mind just broke.
@rawr - the wii doesn't come in purple! lolz. i used to have a gamecube; me and my brother told our dad to get it for us instead of a ps2... back then it was a good call cause we got super smash bros and mario kart double dash. but in retrospect, i think we should have gotten the ps2.

haha!! i reckon it is all about sentimentality with some people! i mean, growing up with a game boy colour means i always feel warm and fuzzy when i see one again!! ^.^
@MisledYouth, i agree the PS2 wouldve of probably been a better choice because it has some good games especially Final Fantasy!
@WiddySquiddy, its definitely about the sentamentality! :D
@SavhanhaGhibli - i have always been a fan of Metal Gear and i remember MGS2 was out and we should have gotten a PS2 just for that reason. when i got my first job, one of the first things i bought was a PS2 and a copy of MGS3.
also, i was never a real hardcore fan of Final Fantasy until recent years. on my PS3 and PSP i have a copy of FF-VII, and i have FF-VIII and FF-IX for PSX and Dissidia Final Fantasy for PSP and the Advent Children movie on Blu-Ray.
PS3 That way I can play not only all my old PS1 games like ffIx <3 and all the PS2 ones but the new ones, watch my DVD's and go online..
Play some RPG's, watch some anime then sleep... ZZzzzZz sounds good.
PS3
all the good naruto games come out on that platform
plus the new haruhi suzamia game is coming out soon on PS3
"That's my choice as well. Sadly, my ex got mine in the divorce. However, I have a non-backwards compatible PS3, and I never got rid of my PS2, so I'm covered."
You have the best of both worlds! I have my 2 Japanese PS2's, and my US PS2, and PS3 plays games from all over the world...so I am happy!
@Kuttsinister7 - i thought PS3s games were region coded...???
but that's only with the pre-slim models and before the 3.4 update that cancelled out Linux support, right? is it still possible to hack it afterwards?
I don't know I'll look into it I f I find anything I'll tell you
HOLD PRESS SELECT 3 SEC, REMOTE PS3 6,6,7,4,6,2 UNLOCK PS3 REGION. I think this will work but I'm not sure
My whole childhood revolved around my SNES so that would be my choice. I could still easily go back and play Super Mario Bros., Mega Man, Castlevania and Final Fantasy for hours.
Computer. That way I can get on the internet too when I'm bored :D
Xbox 360 because I am loyal to Microsoft and Wii because the Just Dance games are fun.
XBOX360 cause it is awsome
Wow, I don't think I'd survive with just one game console...
I mean, how could I choose from NES (Mario, Zelda, Metroid), PS2 (Kingdom Hearts), and N64 (Donkey Kong, Mario, Banjo and Kazooie)?
""I would probably be the Game Cube because it is just an awesome game console and there are so many cool games that you can play on it! :D"

I totally have to agree here... Why go for the Game Cube (Which I do love, Super Mario Sunshine and all the Zelda games, yay!) when the Wii can do all that an more?
"My whole childhood revolved around my SNES so that would be my choice. I could still easily go back and play Super Mario Bros., Mega Man, Castlevania and Final Fantasy for hours."
I forgot to add Megaman to my post, I used to have the hugest crush on Megaman as a little kid.
Eto .. this is kinda of a hard one.
But I would say a PS2 or the wii. Probably the PS2 since it has a lot of games I would have loved to play over and over, like Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II ^^
If Microsoft fixed the RROD problem, then I would have to pick that because that's my main console of choice for this generation and absolutely love it.
Genesis.
It Does What Nintendon't.
In all seriousness, It has Mega Man and Sonic, That's more than enough for me to ask for.
PSP or DS <>______<>
I just LOVED the psp and you can play Pokemon on the DS x33

@w@
May I please confess my undying love for you?
Lol jk
I absolutely LOVE Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, though!
I've heard they're going to make a 3rd one, but I haven't looked into it myself. I hope they do!
PC. Sooner or later every system will get an emulator and then all games will be in my grasp :D
im gonna also have to say my computer because you can play any game you want to on a pc as long as you get an emulater
Ps1.ps2 and ps3 i have them all so im good to go
Xbox 360! For the most part it has all the games I like to play the most.
Dingoo A320 for me. it can emulate GB/GBC/GBA, NES/SNES, Atari, NeoGeo, Sega Genesis, and PS1...among other things. what's not to like?
DSi or computer... for me its hard to pick. eventually, i may end up going with computer, but i guess i'll go with DSi for now cause of the two cameras.
gaming laptop with external baterypack with alien software for better performance
PS2. My personal favourite console and it has a wide variety of games. I'm a huge fan of RPGs and the PS2 has many note worthy RPGs, including some Tales of games.
ps3, when it originally came out. back when it was backwards compatible.
I would say PC because you can do pretty much anything besides games and it's not limited compare to consoles.
