I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THERE WAS SUCH A THING AS A WIPING TOILET!! wow... *blank stares into the distance* -.-
Nope.

"Haha In Most Of Your Album Covers Someone Is Drinking Something Haha"
haha, yeh! looks like they drank a lot! XD
Can i ask.
in japan do allll the toilets really 'wipe' for you?
"Can i ask.
in japan do allll the toilets really 'wipe' for you?"
Nope.
There are a variety of awesome options available, but alas, wiping is not available AFAIK.
"Can i ask.

Not all of them. Most of the western style toilets in hotels n such will have the bidet function.

There isn't.
Most of the places I stayed in Japan didn't even have insulation... and these were large cities with millions of people in them!
@AnimeEv: *continues blank stares into distance* ... oh... *disapointed face* :P
Yes. I went on a tour though so I was limited in what I could do. Places I went to included the Golden Pavillion/ Kinkaku-ji, Takeshita Street, and Tsukiji fish market a little bit before they closed it to tourists. It was fun, but in the future if I go back I would choose not to go on a tour so that I have more freedom.
Protip: when going on escalators stay on one side. One side is for you to stand and wait while the other is for people in a hurry and walking up/down escalators.

Wow, you are so lucky!! yeh, you should go on a trip without a tour, coz, yeh, more freedom! you must have had so much fun still though!! Japan is the number one place i want to go!
Oh, and nice tip!! i would have never known that and i would have annoyed quite a lot of Japanese people without you! cheers! :D
i havent gone, but i would like to go at the end of next year for these reasons:
1) to see the Japanese do Christmas
2) Comiket
3) to see the Japanese do New Years
i'm saving some money 'cause i know its gonna be a pricey endeavor (especially 'cause i wanna go during the Holiday Season).
and i know i'll be listening to this song when i get there:

This is probably odd for an anime geek, but I have absoultely no want to ever go to Japan. I have alot of friends that've been there and lived there though. My mom is one of them.
I would love to go, but alas I only just graduated from year 12 so I am about as broke as you can get.
But I plan to go there at the start of 2012 with a few mates...

You might want to consider going for Spring Break as, depending on when Spring Break is, you'll get to see the cherry blossoms as well.
"You might want to consider going for Spring Break as, depending on when Spring Break is, you'll get to see the cherry blossoms as well."
Thats a good point! iv always wanted to see some cherry blossom trees in bloom... iv never thought of what TIME of the year i should go, so thank you. whenever i take my first trip to Japan, it will be spring. sortedf! :D
Yes, i went to Japan. But, it was over the summer on a tour..so it was REALLY hot and we had to walk a lot. Going on tours also has its good sides and downsides. One down side was that i wasn't able to visit Akihibara. T^T A good side is that i made new friends on the tour XD
@kurofate: That sounds like fun! It's always good meeting new people. ^.^
My friend went twice.. I am so jealous. But I'm gonna go abroad when I'm in college~!
Never! But i really want to go there! :D
"My friend went twice.. I am so jealous. But I'm gonna go abroad when I'm in college~!"
that is the plan with me too! im hoping to go to art college after i finnish school and go to japan during my holidays- but with the tuition cuts in the UK now, i think im going to be in debt as it is... T.T
My brother married a Japanese girl so I've been there once and am going back this year and the next. :) Her family is so lovely! We went camping at Lake Toya with them, went to night clubs, Disneyland and DisneySea and drank LOTS! ^_^ Had the most amazing time and going to Super Potato in Akihabara was incredible!
I can't wait to go back!
I went for seniors graduation. Me and my grandma went for 32 days. It was a blast. I went and saw a bunch of shrines and castles. Met some really nice people. Fell in love. And shopped way to much. I would def. love to go back again. :)
I would love to go myself, but I'd rather learn the language first. Something I plan on doing in the distant future.
I am currently the President of an Asian Culture Club at my high school and I am trying to figure out how to get all six of us over to Japan! But when we go and had our fun, I will tell you what we did! ^_^
I lived there for about 3 years when my dad was in the military. I think I was about 5 when i first got there so I don't remember much. But I do remember this one arcade that we went to in tokyo. My dad won the crane game like 4 or 5 times so we filled my sisters stroller with Pikachus. XD But I ended up losing my favorite watch there. And the schools were cool. I didn't actually go to a japanese school though. I went to a military run school. But they still taught me basic japanese (which I don't remember anymore sadly...). Someday, I'm gonna go back there. Maybe even live there.
lucky
I'm planning to next year, backpacking, around tokyo and osaka.
"I'm planning to next year, backpacking, around tokyo and osaka."
Sounds like fun :D I want to go once I finish Uni. Should be pretty awesome. Definitely gonna visit Tokyo.
Isn't it true that in Japan the cities have way less violence & crime than Western cities? I think i heard that somewhere.
And people are nice to you too :)
"I'm planning to next year, backpacking, around tokyo and osaka."
ugh, you are SO lucky! that sounds like so much fun! sorry, but it sounds a little like in pokemon where you walk from one city to another catching pokemon along the way! that would be even more awsome... but that is completely different!! have fun! ^.^
no but I would absolutely love to go!!!!! :D maybe someday in the future :)
my trip to japan is going to be after i go to lego land... one day..
I've been to Japan a few times cuz I have family there. It was super awsome. We went to Akihabara (or however you spell it) And saw some anime cosplayers and maids. xD
"my trip to japan is going to be after i go to lego land... one day.."
LEGOLAND! :D
"my trip to japan is going to be after i go to lego land... one day.."

I cannot compare between western cities and Japanese cities, because I also heard there are some creepy rumours about Japan's neighborhood

lol Never think like that. Maybe it will be quite similar except without any wild pokemon out there :)
"my trip to japan is going to be after i go to lego land... one day.."
sorry but what is a legoland?
""my trip to japan is going to be after i go to lego land... one day.."

A theme park dedicated to LEGOs. Kiddy rides and LEGO displays. There's one in Denmark, Windsor, England, and Carlsbad, California. A new one is opening in Central Florida this year.
I've never been there, but i really want to go
I would kill every last one of you if it meant I could go.
i wish i could go
I was there a few weeks ago! I had an 8 hour layover and I totally made it into Akihabara! It was fun!
Test Post =p
no but i really want to go
I was there for about a month studying abroad. I wish I had more time to really explore the place and less time visiting museums and lecture halls, but... TOKYO. I LOVE IT. I got to see sumo wrestling and tsukiji fish market and akiba and takeshita dori and and and ...
Also, I love 7/11 now.
No but it is one of my life long dreams to visit japan one day and explore the whole country .
I haven't yet but i will fall of 2012
I had been to Okinwawa, Japan sleeping at a US Military base...
Though, I regret for not trying out a water melon soda.... T_T
Tip: The girls in sailor top uniforms are actually cuter than in the pictures.
