i woke up early (and early for me is anytime before 10am) to take some family pictures for my friend. we started off by hitting up a German deli in Carlsbad and getting breakfast. The place he took me to is called Tip Top Meats and one of their main appeals in the morning is called the 'Big John Breakfast’ which is served with eggs, potatoes and all you can eat breakfast meats (bacon, ham and 3 different kinds of sausages. Those Germans sure know how to make some damn good breakfast meats and now I feel like i’m in a food coma
Afterwards, we went to the San Luis Rey mission in Oceanside to get some pictures of his family. His son is only 6 months old, so it was a challenge to get him to look at the camera for longer than 2 seconds. This might sound weird, but we started taking pictures in the cemetery; the reason being because this cemetery looks really nice (i know that sounds weird). i ended up taking around 250 pictures of them, so hopefully there’s at least 10 good ones so they can choose 1 for their holiday card.
and when i got home, there was a package waiting for me… the awesome stuff i ordered last week!!! i’ll post pictures of the stuff i ordered later. right now i’m gonna take a nap.
i ordered scrambled eggs and they were super fluffy! and i actually do enjoy putting ketchup on my eggs and potatos, but my friends ate them plain and i didn't want to gross them out, 'cause i've met some people who think it's gross to put ketchup on their eggs (i used to think using ranch dressing as a dipping sauce for pizza and wings was gross). also, the only hot sauce they had was 'Tapatio' which i dislike (even though i'm Mexican) 'cause i always get this overly powerful garlic taste from it. but this place had the best polish sausage, bratwurst and bacon that i have ever eaten!!!

1 year, 5 months agoI love breakfast foods!! Eggs are just soo mouth watering delicious. Sometimes they're cooked to look really fluffy and you can hear the juices when you stab your spoon into it. Do you eat your eggs with ketchup?? I do that sometimes, I also like soysauce on it.
