In my conspiring with AnimEV I found out about Area88. I saw the game in Japan at a Recycle shop, but I never picked it up because of the T105 Crusader on the cover. I am a plane geek as well and the plane was a beast during the end of the Korean War and out through Vietnam. It is still used in second world countries today. However it is awesome anime. I am four episodes in and it makes me want to go get out ACE COMBAT and push Mach 3 with guns blazing and Missiles climbing my six.
The Angel of Death Episode was awesome because it was a quiet shout out to Roy Fokker (yes I see the joke in and of itself) and a few other major aircraft jokes. The show is awesome for disc 1, I recommend it to anyone looking for something a little more action, less in-depth plot, more like SEXY AWESOME PLANES SCREAMING THROUGH YOUR PANTS without the whiny typical EMO crap in most animes.
